Abstract
A display filter includes a transparent substrate and a first polarizer film. The first polarizer film allows only a component of ambient light that has passed through the transparent substrate to pass through, the component being parallel to a first polarizer axis.

A display filter disposed in front of a display panel, comprising:
- a transparent substrate;
- and
- a first polarizer film supported on the transparent substrate, wherein the first polarizer film allows only a component of incident ambient light to pass through, the component of incident being parallel to a first polarizer axis.
A digital information display comprising:
- a display panel;
- and
- a display filter disposed in front of the display panel, wherein the display filter comprises:
- a transparent substrate;
- and
- a first polarizer film supported on the transparent substrate, wherein the first polarizer film allows only a component of incident ambient light to pass through, the component of incident ambient being parallel to a first polarizer axis thereof.
