Abstract
The invention relates to fresh air ventilation devices adapted for use with air conditioners (ACs) and/or heaters. In operation, the device supplements the recirculating air of the AC/heater with fresh air drawn from outside of the building.
Claims21
An air conditioning (AC) or heating assembly comprising
- an AC or heating unit having an indoor section, an outdoor section, and a main bulkhead separating the indoor section from an outdoor section;
- and
- a fresh air ventilation assembly attached to the AC or heating unit and opened to the indoor section to inject fresh air to the indoor section thereby mixing the fresh air with recirculating air.
A fresh air ventilation assembly comprising a container having an open face that contains a fan on a first portion of the open face and a duct connected to a second portion of the open face.
A fresh air ventilation device comprising a fan and a container having an open face, wherein the fan is mounted on a first portion of the open face.
