Abstract

A clean screen air filtration system for increasing the filtration of allergens, dust particles, and airborne pollutants from air exiting an air duct. In a preferred embodiment, a user may removably attach a clean screen air filtration system assembly to an existing air duct via a magnetic fastening strip affixed along a backside of an air filter frame. The magnetic fastening strip may provide an efficient means for removably attaching the clean screen air filtration system assembly to the outside of an existing air duct manufactured from a metallic material. The clean screen air filtration system assembly may comprise at least one replaceable air filter. The air filter may comprise a ventilation screen having a plurality of miniature, slatted filter apertures, a flexible air filter frame, and an air filter handle/tab. The user may slidably insert air filter via the filter handle/tab into a filter track located inside a gap region integrated within the air filter frame. The gap region may comprise a width and depth just large enough to receive the air filter such that only the filter handle/tab extends beyond the air filter frame for ease of replacement.

Dependent claims

A clean screen air filtration system for removable attachment to an opening of an air duct comprising;

at least one air filter comprising a ventilation screen, an air filter frame with magnetic strips along a backside for flexibly securing said air filter frame to the air duct;
an air filter frame comprising a rectangular frame having a hollow interior;
a magnetic fastening strip affixed to all four sides of the backside of said air filter frame;
wherein said ventilation screen comprises a plurality of filtering apertures;
wherein said air filter frame is removably attachable via said magnetic fastening strip from said air duct by pulling said air filter frame with said air filter inserted inside away from said air duct, said air duct comprising ferrous material;
wherein said at least one air filter is slidably insertable into said air filter frame;
and
wherein said clean screen air filtration system serves to reduce the passage of allergens, dust particles, and airborne pollutants from exiting said opening of said air duct into an interior room.

a clean screen air filtration system assembly comprising a clean air filter containing a ventilation screen comprising a plurality of filtering apertures having extruding slats thereby enlarging the surface area of said plurality of filter apertures serving to filter an increased amount of dust particles, airborne pollutants and allergens from passing there through, an air filter affixed siding comprising an air filter handle/tab securing said ventilation screen within said air filter frame;

wherein said air filter is slidably insertable into said air filter frame;
and
wherein said clean screen air filtration system serves to reduce the passage of said allergens, said dust particles, and said airborne pollutants from exiting said opening of said air duct into an enclosed area.
