Abstract
The present invention provides a novel glucuronosyltransferase, a polynucleotide encoding the same (e.g., a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide consisting of the nucleotide sequence at positions 1 to 1362 in the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 7, or a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide encoding a protein having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 8); and so on. A novel glucuronosyltransferase having a broad substrate specificity and others can thus be provided.
Claims11
A polynucleotide of any one of (a) to (f):
- (a) a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide consisting of the nucleotide sequence at positions 1 to 1362 in the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 7;
- (b) a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide encoding a protein having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 8;
- (c) a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide encoding a protein consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 8 in which 1 to 15 amino acids are deleted, substituted, inserted and/or added and having a UDP-glucuronosyltransferase activity;
- (d) a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide encoding a protein having an amino acid sequence having at least 80% homology to the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 8 and having a UDP-glucuronosyltransferase activity;
- (e) a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide that hybridizes under stringent conditions with a polynucleotide consisting of a nucleotide sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence at positions 1 to 1362 in the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 7 and encodes a protein having a UDP-glucuronosyltransferase activity;
- and,
- (f) a polynucleotide comprising a polynucleotide that hybridizes under stringent conditions with a polynucleotide consisting of a nucleotide sequence complementary to a nucleotide sequence of a polynucleotide encoding a protein consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 8, and encodes a protein having a UDP-glucuronosyltransferase activity.
