Abstract
A computer-readable medium, computer-implemented method, and system are provided. In one embodiment, a rollback checkpoint for a step in an executable process is established, and the executable process is executed. A change request is received, and the step with the established rollback checkpoint is adjusted. Any subsequent steps of the executable process are also adjusted.
Claims18
A computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to utilize a rollback checkpoint in a distributed order orchestration system, the instructions comprising:
- establishing a rollback checkpoint for a step in an executable process;
- executing the executable process;
- receiving a change request;
- adjusting the step with the established rollback checkpoint;
- and
- adjusting any subsequent steps of the executable process.
A computer-implemented method for utilizing a rollback checkpoint in a distributed order orchestration system, the computer-implemented method comprising:
- establishing a rollback checkpoint for a step in an executable process;
- executing the executable process;
- receiving a change request;
- adjusting the step with the established rollback checkpoint;
- and
- adjusting any subsequent steps of the executable process.
An orchestration system, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- an orchestration module configured to establish a rollback checkpoint for a step in an executable process,
- wherein the orchestration module is further configured to execute the executable process,
- wherein the orchestration module is further configured to receive a change request,
- wherein the orchestration module is further configured to adjust the step with the established rollback checkpoint, and
- wherein the orchestration module is further configured to adjust any subsequent steps of the executable process.
