Distributed order orchestration system for adjusting long running order management fulfillment processes with delta attributes

A computer-implemented method for determining one or more delta attributes in a distributed order orchestration system, the computer-implemented method comprising:

• defining one or more attributes as delta attributes;
• determining a new order object which references an original order object;
• determining the original order object referenced by the new order object;
• comparing the new order object with the original order object to determine one or more delta attributes;
• and
• storing the one or more delta attributes.

An orchestration system, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a decomposition module configured to define one or more attributes as delta attributes,
• wherein the decomposition module is further configured to determine a new order object which references an original order object,
• wherein the decomposition module is further configured to determine the original order object referenced by the new order object,
• wherein the decomposition module is further configured to compare the new order object with the original order object to determine one or more delta attributes, and
• wherein the decomposition module is further configured to store the one or more delta attributes.
