A system for managing retail transaction data comprising:
- a first computer comprised of an instance of register software whose memory contains data representing a login identifier unique to the instance of register software, where the first computer is operatively connected to a data network;
- and
- a server operatively connected to the first computer by means of the data network and operatively connected to a database, the database containing a sub-domain and a login identifier corresponding to said sub-domain, where the data in the sub-domain is accessible or modifiable by the first computer as a result of the second computer receiving from the first computer the login identifier unique to the instance of register software and matching it with the login identifier associated with the sub-domain.
A method of managing retail transaction data comprising:
- Receiving at a server from a first computer operating an instance of register software a user login identifier and a register login identifier;
- Verifying the register login identifier;
- Verifying the user login identifier;
- and
- Transmitting at least one security key value to the first computer.
2 more elements
