Imidazoquinoline compounds

A compound of formula (I):

• wherein:
• R1 is —NR6R7, —C(O)R8, —C(O)OR8, —C(O)NR6R7, —(CH2)mCH═CH(CH2)nR9, —(CH2)mC≡C(CH2)nR9, or —S(O)qR10;
• R2 is H, C1-6 alkyl, substituted C1-6 alkyl, —(CH2)mCH═CH(CH2)nR9, —(CH2)mC≡C(CH2)nR9, —C(O)R8, —C(O)OR8, —C(O)NR6R7, or —S(O)qR10;
• each R3 is independently H, C1-6 alkyl, substituted C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, halogen, trihalomethyl, —NR6R7, —C(O)R8, —C(O)OR8, or —C(O)NR6R7;
• R4 and R5 are each independently H, C1-6 alkyl, C6-10 aryl-C1-6 alkyl, or a protecting group;
• each R6 and R7 is independently H, C1-6 alkyl, substituted C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, C1-6 alkoxy-C1-6 alkyl, C6-10 aryl, C6-10 aryl-C1-6 alkyl, C6-10 aryloxy-C1-6 alkyl, —(CH2)mCH═CH(CH2)nR9, or —(CH2)mC≡C(CH2)nR9;
• or
• R6 and R7 are taken together to form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclyl group;
• each R8 is independently H, C1-6 alkyl or substituted C1-6 alkyl;
• each R9 is independently H, C1-6 alkyl, substituted C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, C6-10 aryl, —CO2H, —C(O)O—C1-6alkyl, or halo;
• each R10 is independently C1-6 alkyl, substituted C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, C6-10 aryl, C6-10 aryl-C1-6 alkyl, trihalomethyl, or —NR6R7;
• each m and n is independently 0, 1, 2, or 3;
• p is 0, 1, 2 or 3;
• and
• each q is independently 0, 1 or 2;
• or
• a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a tautomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the tautomer;
• provided that if R1 is —S-Me, then R2 is not isobutyl.
