Abstract
A video-information encoding apparatus and decoding apparatus with a guarantee of a fixed processing time. By limiting the amount of data to be input into/output from a CABAC encoding unit and decoding unit on a unit-of-encoding basis, such as one picture, slice, macroblock or block, and by encoding uncompressed video data, it is possible to provide a video-information encoding apparatus and decoding apparatus with a guarantee of a fixed processing time. Thereby, an apparatus with a guarantee of the processing time can be mounted.
Claims3
A video encoding apparatus for encoding a video signal, comprising:
- encoding means for performing a CABAC encoding process on the video signal;
- and
- controlling means for controlling the CABAC encoding process so as to terminate the CABAC encoding process in case of outputting raw data of the video signal as a bit stream.
A video encoding method for encoding a video signal, comprising:
- performing a CABAC encoding process on the video signal;
- and
- controlling the CABAC encoding process so as to terminate the CABAC encoding process in case of outputting raw data of the video signal as a bit stream.
A video encoding apparatus for encoding a video signal, comprising:
- an encoder configured to perform a CABAC encoding process on the video signal;
- and
- a controller, including a processor, configured to control the CABAC encoding process so as to terminate the CABAC encoding process in case of outputting raw data of the video signal as a bit stream.
