Abstract
An apparatus for wireless communications is provided including a processing system. The processing system is configured to determine path-losses between the apparatus and a plurality of wireless nodes, to group the plurality of wireless nodes into sets based on the determined path-losses, and to exchange data with at least one of the wireless nodes in one of the sets.
Claims21
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- a processing system configured to:
- determine transmission times of a plurality of wireless nodes;
- group the plurality of wireless nodes into sets based on the determined transmission times;
- and
- exchange data using a multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output transmission with at least one of the wireless nodes in one of the sets,
- wherein the processing system is configured to group the plurality of wireless nodes into sets such that each of the sets comprises wireless nodes with approximately equal transmissions times.
A method of wireless communications, comprising:
- determining transmission times of a plurality of wireless nodes;
- grouping, by the apparatus, the plurality of wireless nodes into sets based on the determined transmission times;
- and
- exchanging data, by the apparatus, using a multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output transmission with at least one of the wireless nodes in one of the sets,
- wherein the plurality of wireless nodes are grouped into sets such that each of the sets comprises wireless nodes with approximately equal transmissions times.
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- means for determining transmission times of a plurality of wireless nodes;
- means for grouping the plurality of wireless nodes into sets based on the determined transmission times;
- and
- means for exchanging data using a multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output transmission with at least one of the wireless nodes in one of the sets,
- wherein the plurality of wireless nodes are grouped into sets such that each of the sets comprises wireless nodes with approximately equal transmissions times.
A computer program product for wireless communications comprising a computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, direct an apparatus to:
- determine transmission times of a plurality of wireless nodes;
- group the plurality of wireless nodes into sets based on the determined transmission times;
- and
- exchange data using a multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output transmission with at least one wireless node in one of the sets,
- wherein the plurality of wireless nodes are grouped into sets such that each of the sets comprises wireless nodes with approximately equal transmissions times.
An access point, comprising:
- a transmitter;
- and
- a processing system configured to:
- determine transmission times of a plurality of wireless nodes;
- group the plurality of wireless nodes into sets based on the determined transmission times;
- and
- exchange data using a multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output transmission with at least one of the wireless nodes in one of the sets,
- wherein the processing system is configured to group the plurality of wireless nodes into sets such that each of the sets comprises wireless nodes with approximately equal transmissions times.
