A housing for connecting a plurality of branch lines to the insulated conductors of an intermediate portion of a cable from which the outer sheath layer has been removed, comprising a rectangular base member containing an open-topped base chamber, and a pair of opposed end walls containing openings for receiving spaced insulated portions of the cable on opposite sides of the cable intermediate portion. A plurality of insulation-piercing electrical devices are arranged in the base chamber in electrical engagement with the insulated conductors, respectively, and a plurality of interchangeable cover members are each adapted for seating on the base member to close the base chamber, with each of the cover members containing an electrical component arranged for connection with at least one of the electrical devices.
Connection system with several connection devices for making branch lines on a plurality of continuous electric conductors, in particular, a sectionally stripped cable with
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that in housing lid (3), it has a bay to receive spare parts or a spare parts container.
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that electrical/electronic structural elements or an entire electronic circuit is or are integrated into housing lid (3).
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the housing lid is provided with a connection socket, which is made in the form of a 400-V socket.
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that housing lid (3) is provided with at least one or several connection sockets according to the M Standard.
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that housing lid (3) is provided with at least one or several connection sockets according to the M Standard.
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that housing lid (3) receives the structural elements of an electronic circuit for connection to a bus system such as AS-i, preferably comprising an energy bus and a data bus.
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the housing lid is provided with cooling ribs (73).
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the housing lid is provided with manually operable switches.
Connection system according to one of the above claims, characterized in that an LED is arranged in/on the housing lid, serving as a light source.
