Abstract
The present invention discloses a method and a system for dividing destination calls in an elevator system, which comprises at least two elevator groups, which elevator groups have one or more shared floors and also destination call appliances on at least the aforementioned shared floors for receiving destination calls given by passengers. The destination call appliances are connected to the group controls of the elevator groups, and the destination calls given by passengers are divided between the elevator groups on the basis of the defined division criteria.

Method for dividing destination calls between elevator groups in an elevator system, which comprises at least two elevator groups, which elevator groups have one or more shared floors and also destination call appliances on at least the aforementioned shared floors for receiving destination calls given by passengers, wherein the method comprises the phases:
- the aforementioned destination call appliances are connected to the group controls of the aforementioned elevator groups for conveying destination call information to the elevator groups;
- the division criteria of destination calls are defined;
- and
- the destination calls given by passengers are divided between the elevator groups on the basis of the aforementioned division criteria.
Elevator system, which comprises at least two elevator groups, which elevator groups have one or more shared floors and also destination call appliances on at least the aforementioned shared floors for receiving destination calls given by passengers, wherein the destination call appliances are connected by means of an equipment bus to the group controls of the aforementioned elevator groups for conveying destination call information to the elevator groups, and in that the destination call appliances are arranged to divide the destination calls given by passengers between the elevator groups on the basis of the determined division criteria.
