A vehicle air conditioner includes a first heat storage device having a first heat storage medium, a battery disposed under a floor of a compartment of a vehicle on a chassis side and a heat insulator covering the first heat storage device for insulating. The first heat storage device is disposed on and thermally connected to the battery.

A vehicle air conditioner comprising:
- a first heat storage device having a first heat storage medium;
- a battery disposed under a floor of a compartment of a vehicle on a chassis side;
- and
- a heat insulator covering the first heat storage device for insulating, wherein the first heat storage device is disposed on and thermally connected to the battery.
