Abstract
An improved method for predicting stability of liquid detergent composition, identifying and designing liquid detergent compositions that provide said desired stability, consumer acceptance and performance.
Claims15
A liquid detergent composition comprising:
- a) from about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of the composition of an alkoxylated polyethyleneimine polymer comprising a polyethyleneimine backbone having from about 400 to about 10000 weight average molecular weight and the alkoxylated polyethyleneimine polymer further comprises:
- (1) one or two alkoxylation modifications per nitrogen atom by a polyalkoxylene chain having an average of about 1 to about 30 alkoxy moieties per modification, wherein the terminal alkoxy moiety of the alkoxylation modification is capped with hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl or mixtures thereof;
- (2) a substitution of one C1-C4 alkyl moiety and one or two alkoxylation modifications per nitrogen atom by a polyalkoxylene chain having an average of about 1 to about 40 alkoxy moieties per modification wherein the terminal alkoxy moiety is capped with hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl or mixtures thereof;
- or
- (3) a combination thereof;
- and
- b) from about 5% to about 40% by weight of the composition of a sulphate or sulphonate surfactant.
