Flowguide decoration

A method of operating a flowguide decoration, the method comprising:

• providing a viewing vessel containing fluid and decorative particles;
• providing a flowguide positioned within the viewing vessel that defines the flow path for movement of the fluid and the decorative particles to and from a motion-inducing mechanism also within the viewing vessel;
• and
• moving the fluid and the decorative particles along the flow path using the motion-inducing mechanism.

A flowguide decoration comprising:

• a generally cylindrical viewing vessel containing fluid and decorative particles;
• a motion-inducing mechanism configured to impart motion to the fluid and the decorative particles along a flow path within the viewing vessel;
• a generally planar flowguide positioned within the viewing vessel that defines a flow path for movement of the fluid and the decorative particles to and from the motion-inducing mechanism;
• a light configured to illuminate one or more of the viewing vessel, flowguide, fluid, and decorative particles.
