Canter element controlled combination manifold, valve and filter module system

A method for replacing a filter module that is attached to a combination manifold and valve system, the method comprising:

• simultaneously shutting off an inlet opening and an outlet opening of the system while releasing a securing member of the system from a securing position, by rotating a rotatable structural member of the system from a first position to a second position, the securing member having secured the filter module in operational engagement with the system in the securing position;
• and
• removing the filter module from the system for replacement with a replacement filter module, when the securing member is released from the securing position;
• wherein rotating the rotatable structural member from the first position to the second position allows for the releasing of the securing member.
