Abstract
A formation aid, for use in the forming of receptacles in a swimming pool, includes a three-dimensional body having an essentially conical shape. The three-dimensional body of the formation aid includes a narrow end, for placement near an interior edge of the swimming pool during formation of the swimming pool; and a wide end, for placement remote from the interior edge of the swimming pool, in order to form a receptacle.
Claims26
A system for forming a swimming pool, the system comprising:
- (a) a plurality of rebar supports, the rebar supports forming a support structure;
- (b) a water circulation system, for circulating water in the swimming pool;
- (c) a formation aid, for forming a receptacle in the swimming pool, the receptacle housing a portion of the water circulation system, wherein the formation aid is a three-dimensional shape;
- and
- (d) a construction material that forms a solid barrier after application to the plurality of rebar supports, the construction material and the plurality of rebar supports forming the swimming pool.
A method of forming a receptacle housing a portion of a water circulation system in a swimming pool, the method comprising:
- (a) placing a formation aid in a position to form a weep hole;
- (b) applying a construction material around the formation aid, such that the construction material surrounds the formation aid;
- (c) removing the formation aid;
- and
- (d) applying a second construction material to fill the weep hole.
A formation aid, for use in the forming of receptacles in a swimming pool, the formation aid comprising:
- a three-dimensional body having an essentially trapezoidal shape, the three-dimensional body comprising:
- (a) a narrow end, for placement near an interior edge of the swimming pool during formation of the swimming pool;
- (b) a wide end, for placement remote from the interior edge of the swimming pool, in order to form a receptacle.
A protection aid, for use in installation of swimming pool fixtures, comprising:
- (a) a first cylindrical body;
- (b) a second cylindrical body;
- and
- (c) an orifice.
A protection aid, for use in installation of a swimming pool feature, comprising:
- (a) a front section having contours of a profile of a face of a swimming pool feature;
- (b) an inner edge having a circumference smaller than an outer circumference of the swimming pool feature;
- (c) an outer edge having a circumference smaller than an outer circumference of a face of the swimming pool feature;
- wherein the inner edge and outer edge are expandable to extend over the outer circumference of the swimming pool feature;
- and
- wherein the inner and the outer edge are retractable to enclose the face of the swimming pool feature.
