Abstract
This document discusses, among other things, a method for online diagnosis of a patient. The method includes receiving information regarding a result of an at-home medical test performed by a patient. The method also includes verifying the result of the at-home medical test based on an output from a testing device. Information indicative of the result of the at-home medical test is provided to a healthcare practitioner based on the verification of the result of the at-home medical test. The method also includes receiving information indicative of a diagnosis for the patient from the healthcare practitioner and providing the information indicative of a diagnosis to the patient.
Claims20
A method of diagnosing a patient online, the method comprising:
- receiving information regarding a result of an at-home medical test performed by a patient;
- verifying the result of the at-home medical test based on an output from a testing device;
- providing information indicative of the result of the at-home medical test to a healthcare practitioner, the information provided based on the verification of the result of the at-home medical test;
- receiving information indicative of a diagnosis for the patient from the healthcare practitioner;
- and
- providing the information indicative of a diagnosis to the patient.
A system for online diagnosis of a patient, the system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- a memory including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- receive information regarding a result of an at-home medical test performed by a patient;
- verify the result of the at-home medical test based on an output from a testing device;
- provide information indicative of the result of the at-home medical test to a healthcare practitioner, the information provided based on the verification of the at-home medical test;
- receive information indicative of a diagnosis for the patient from the healthcare practitioner;
- and
- provide the information indicative of a diagnosis to the patient.
A machine-readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- receive information regarding a result of an at-home medical test performed by a patient;
- verify the result of the at-home medical test based on an output from a testing device;
- provide information indicative of the result of the at-home medical test to a healthcare practitioner, the information provided based on the verification of the result of the at-home medical test;
- receive information indicative of a diagnosis for the patient from the healthcare practitioner;
- and
- provide the information indicative of a diagnosis to the patient.
