Abstract
A solid laundry detergent composition including: (a) detersive surfactant; (b) brightener in micronized particulate form, having a weight average primary particle size of from 3 to 30 micrometers; (c) from 0 wt % to 10 wt % zeolite builder; (d) from 0 wt % to 10 wt % phosphate builder; (e) optionally from 0 wt % to 10 wt % silicate salt; (f) optionally from 0 wt % to 10 wt % layered silicate; and (g) other detergent ingredients.

A solid laundry detergent composition comprising:
- a) detersive surfactant;
- b) brightener in micronized particulate form, having a weight average primary particle size of from 3 to 30 micrometers;
- c) from 0 wt % to 10 wt % zeolite builder;
- d) from 0 wt % to 10 wt % phosphate builder;
- e) optionally from 0 wt % to 10 wt % silicate salt;
- f) optionally from 0 wt % to 10 wt % layered silicate;
- and
- g) other detergent ingredients.
