Abstract
A packaging material for at least one individual portion of a food composition, with a foil folded into a tubular shape which can be filled in an axial direction of the tubular shape, with a first shell for carrying the foil upwards in the axial direction, and a second shell that interacts with the first shell and the foil in such a manner that the foil folded into a tubular shape is clamped in the assembly of the first and the second shell in order to preserve the tubular shape, wherein the second shell also comprises an opening for filling the foil.

A packaging material (11), for packaging at least one individual portion of a food composition, comprising
- a) a discontinuously tubular-shaped foil (3) fillable in an axial direction of the tubular shape and
- b) a first shell (1) for carrying the foil (3) upwards in the axial direction in an assembly with
- c) a second shell (10) positioned in relation to first shell (1) such that the axial direction extends between the first shell (1) and an opening (20) in the second shell (10), to facilitate filling of the foil (3),
- wherein the first and second shells interact in the assembly and with foil (3) to preserve the tubular shape of foil (3) and to enable filling of foil (3) in the axial direction through opening (20).
