Abstract
A digital image of the object is captured and the object is recognized from plurality of objects in a database. An information address corresponding to the object is then used to access information and initiate communication pertinent to the object.

An object processing system comprising:
- mobile device configured to acquire a digital representation of an object;
- a object identification platform configured to:
- obtain the digital representation from the mobile device;
- identify a target object within a database of known objects based on the digital representation of the object;
- identity pertinent information related to the target object;
- send the pertinent information to the mobile device enabling the mobile device to perform an action associated with the object based on the pertinent information.
