Abstract
A circuit including a first transistor group and a second transistor group. The transistor groups are connected such that they are arranged to be fed with at least one input signal, and such that they are arranged to output at least two currents. At least two transistors are arranged to be biased in such a way that desired signal paths are obtained in the circuit, such that a desired output current ratio is obtained.
Claims10
A circuit comprising at least a first transistor group (2, 3;
- 14, 15) and a second transistor group (4, 5;
- 14, 15), where the transistor groups (2, 3;
- 14, 15;
- 4, 5;
- 16, 17) are connected such that they are arranged to be fed with at least one input signal (iin), and such that they are arranged to output at least two currents (iout1, iout2;
- iout1, iout2), characterized in that at least two transistors (2a, 2b;
- 3a, 3b;
- 4a, 4b;
- 5a, 5b;
- 6a, 6b;
- 14, 15, 16, 17) are arranged to be biased in such a way that desired signal paths are obtained in the circuit, such that a desired output current ratio is obtained.
A circuit according to any one of the previous claims, characterized in that it is constituted by a current-mode attenuator.
A circuit according to any one of the previous claims, characterized in that the relative output current from each transistor (2a, 2b;
- 3a, 3b;
- 4a, 4b;
- 5a, 5b;
- 6a, 6b;
- 14, 15, 16, 17) is defined by the corresponding relative transistor characteristics.
