Abstract
When printing is to be executed on the basis of an input print job, and a group of sheets having undergone the printing on the basis of the input print job are discharged to a first one of multiple discharging destinations, the first discharging destination is switched to a second discharging destination in the course of the discharging process, and the second discharging destination is selected in accordance with an arranged order of the group of sheets.
Claims8
A print control apparatus capable of discharging sheets printed by a printing unit to multiple discharging destinations, the print control apparatus comprising:
- a switching unit configured, when a group of sheets printed by the printing unit based on an input print job are discharged to a first one of the multiple discharging destinations, to switch the first discharging destination to a second discharging destination during when the discharging process is performed;
- and
- a selecting unit configured to select the second discharging destination in accordance with an arranged order of the group of sheets.
A print control method comprising:
- a step in which, when a printing unit executes printing based on an input print job, and a group of sheets printed by the printing unit based on the input print job are discharged to a first one of multiple discharging destinations, the first discharging destination is switched to a second discharging destination during when the discharging process is performed;
- and
- a step for selecting the second discharging destination in accordance with an arranged order of the group of sheets.
A computer-readable storage medium that stores a computer-executable program, the program comprising:
- a step in which, when a printing unit executes printing based on an input print job, and a group of sheets printed by the printing unit based on the input print job are discharged to a first one of multiple discharging destinations, the first discharging destination is switched to a second discharging destination during when the discharging process is performed;
- and
- a step for selecting the second discharging destination in accordance with an arranged order of the group of sheets.
