A water flow regulation system provides for the distribution of water between one or more water sources and one or more water distribution destinations based on a set of rules. Some embodiments provide for systems and methods of regulating water flow based on various status information, such as weather, cost, under-ground moisture, time or season.

A water flow regulation system comprising:
- one or more water sources;
- one or more water distribution destinations;
- a water conduit system configured to facilitate distribution of water between the one or more water sources and the one or more water distribution destinations;
- and
- a controller configured to control the distribution of water between the one or more water sources and the one or more water distribution destinations based at least in part on a set of rules and status information related to the set of rules.
