Abstract

A damping device comprises an axle, a housing, a unidirectional member, and a damping oil. The unidirectional member in cross section is formed like a T-shape, and a top portion thereof is formed as an arc to cooperate with the housing's inner wall. Where the unidirectional member contains a U-shaped slot defines oil holes interlaced with the gap of the first slot wall. The lifting of the cover is free from damping and the closing thereof performs a well damping capability. Even only a narrow angle is lifted, a delicate damping is still achieved. The undersized unidirectional member concurrently guarantees the structural strength. The diminished cross-section of the unidirectional member contributes to a smaller U-shaped slot. Therefore, while satisfying the turning angle, the thicknesses of the U-shaped slot's wall and the obstructing wall are assured to greatly prolong the using life of the present invention.

Dependent claims

A damping device comprising an axle, a housing, a unidirectional member, and damping oil;

said housing having two obstructing walls integrally and extensively installed on an inner wall toward a center thereon for an outer wall of said axle to prop against;
said axle including two inward symmetric ribs integrally and extensively installed thereon, and each of which further axially defining a slot to pivotally receive said unidirectional member;
said unidirectional member being movable disposed within said slot;
said slot including gaps respectively spaced on two side walls thereof;
said unidirectional member accompanying with said axle being hermetically coupled to said housing, and an unoccupied space inside said sealed housing being filled up by said damping oil;
characterized in that, an oil hole defined inside said slot of said unidirectional member being staggered with one of said gap on said slot, and other oil hole of said unidirectional member being intercommunicated with other gap on said slot;
One side of said unidirectional member that props on said slot wall with said staggered gap further providing with a plurality of longitudinal bars.
