Abstract
An agent that is capable of improving dye fastness is provided. The agent includes a compound that includes at least one functional group capable of forming at least one interaction or at least one bond with a fiber or a dye molecule. Also, a method for using the agents to improve dye fastness and a dyed article including the agent are provided.

An agent for improving dye fastness, comprising a compound having at least one functional group capable of forming at least one interaction or at least one bond with a fiber or a dye molecule.
A dyed article, comprising a fiber, a dye and the agent for improving dye fastness, wherein the functional group of the compound in the agent forms at least one interaction or at least one bond with the fiber and the dye.
