Abstract
The present invention provides native Goodpasture antigen binding protein isoforms, monoclonal antibodies directed against such proteins, and methods for their use.
Claims6
A method for detecting urinary Goodpasture antigen binding protein (GPBP), comprising
- (a) contacting a urine sample with an antibody that binds to 91 kD GPBP as set forth in SEQ ID NO:2 and/or with an antibody that binds to 77 kD GPBP as set forth in SEQ ID NO:4, under conditions to promote selective binding of the antibody to the 91 kD GPBP and/or to the 77 kD GPBP;
- (b) removing unbound urine and/or antibodies;
- and
- (c) detecting complex formation between the antibody and the 91 kD GPBP, and/or between the antibody and the 77 kD GPBP in the urine sample.
