Abstract
A method of updating an application on a mobile device is disclosed. One embodiment obtains a device identifier from the mobile device. In addition, at least one updatable application associated with the device identifier that is available to install on the mobile device is obtained from an installation manager. The at least one updatable application is installed on the mobile device and the installation manager is updated to represent that the at least one updatable application is installed on the mobile device.
Claims11
A method of updating an application on a mobile device, the method comprising:
- obtaining a device identifier from the mobile device;
- obtaining from an installation manager at least one updatable application, associated with the device identifier, that is available to install on the mobile device;
- installing the at least one updatable application on the mobile device;
- and
- updating the installation manager to represent that the at least one updatable application is installed on the mobile device.
