Management system and managed apparatus, and method of management

A management system in which a plurality of managed apparatuses and a managing apparatus managing the plurality of managed apparatuses are connected so that they communicate via an HTTP server, wherein,

• each of the managed apparatuses comprises:
• a communication section accessing the HTTP server and writing apparatus information indicating status of apparatus itself;
• a communication control section making the communication section operate periodically based on timing information obtained from the managing apparatus;
• wherein the managing apparatus comprise;
• a timing setting section setting a timing that each managed apparatus access to the server and notifying the set timing information to each of the managed apparatuses, and
• a communication section accessing the HTTP server and reading out the apparatus information of each of the managed apparatuses.

A method of management for a management system in which a plurality of managed apparatuses and a managing apparatus managing the plurality of managed apparatuses are connected so that they communicate via an HTTP server, comprises:

• a first step of setting a timing of accessing the HTTP server based on a unique value of apparatus itself set in advance, by each of the managed apparatuses;
• a second step of accessing periodically to the HTTP server based on the set timing information and writing apparatus information indicating status of apparatus itself, by each of the managed apparatus;
• and
• a third step of accessing to the HTTP server and reading out the apparatus information of each of the managed apparatuses, by the managing apparatus.

A method of management for a management system in which a plurality of managed apparatuses and a managing apparatus managing the plurality of managed apparatuses are connected so as to communicate via an HTTP server, comprises:

• a first step of writing a prescribed unique value to apparatus itself to the HTTP server by each of the managed apparatuses;
• a second step of reading the unique value to apparatus itself of each of the managed apparatuses from the HTTP server, setting the timing that each managed apparatus access the HTTP server, and writing the set timing information to the HTTP server, by the managing apparatus;
• a third step of reading the timing information of apparatus itself from the HTTP server, accessing periodically to the HTTP server based on the timing information, and writing apparatus information indicating status of apparatus itself, by each of the managed apparatuses;
• and
• a fourth step of accessing to the HTTP server, and reading the apparatus status of each of the managed apparatuses, by the managing apparatus.
