Abstract
Fusion proteins comprising a transferrin moiety and integrin binding domain and peptide libraries thereof are disclosed. The present invention includes a method of screening transferrin and integrin peptide libraries displayed in fusion proteins expressed by host cells. The fusion proteins of the present invention include transferrin fusion proteins capable of expression in yeast.
Claims118
A fusion protein comprising:
- (a) a transferrin (Tf) moiety,
- (b) an integrin binding moiety, and
- (c) a stalk moiety.
The fusion protein of 22, wherein the Tf moiety comprises mutations at amino acids S415 and T613 of SEQ ID NO.:
- 3.
A fusion protein comprising:
- (a) an albumin moiety and
- (b) an integrin binding moiety;
A library containing a plurality of fusion proteins, each comprising a first transferrin (Tf) peptide fused to at least one second peptide, wherein said second peptide contains an integrin binding sequence.
A library of transferrin proteins comprising a plurality of transferrin proteins, wherein each transferrin protein contains at least about three randomly mutated amino acid residues and wherein said at least about three randomly mutated amino acids are located within one surface exposed region of transferrin.
A fusion protein comprising:
- (a) a transferrin moiety;
- (b) a stalk moiety;
- and
- (c) a cell wall linking member.
