Abstract
Delivery compositions and substrates for imparting a volatile active agent to a surface are disclosed herein. To achieve the delivery of the volatile component, a delivery composition of a polymer network and a volatile component incorporated into the polymer network to stabilize the volatile for extended periods of time. The delivery composition may also be present on a substantially dry substrate to deliver the active agent. The dry substrate may be selected from facial tissue, bath tissue, paper towel, or dinner napkin. The substantially dry substrate may also be reusable.
Claims20
A delivery composition for delivering an active agent comprising:
- a polymer network;
- a volatile active agent entrapped within the polymer network;
- and
- wherein the volatile active agent is present in an amount from about 0.01% (by weight of the delivery composition) to about 60% (by weight of the delivery composition).
A substantially dry substrate for delivering an active agent, the dry wipe comprising:
- a substrate;
- and
- a composition comprising:
- a polymer network;
- a volatile active agent entrapped within the polymer network;
- and
- wherein the volatile active agent is present in an amount from about 0.01% (by weight of the delivery composition) to about 60% (by weight of the delivery composition).
