Abstract
The present invention provides methods for inhibiting tumor cell metastasis. In particular, the invention provides methods for reducing tumor cell malignancy by administering to a subject an antibody that inhibits glycoprotein Ibα, such that tumor cell malignancy is reduced.

A method for reducing tumor cell metastasis in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject an antibody that inhibits glycoprotein Ibα, such that tumor cell metastasis is reduced.
A method for reducing tumor cell malignancy in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject an antibody that inhibits glycoprotein Ibα, such that tumor cell malignancy is reduced.
A method for inhibiting formation of a tumor cell embolism in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject an antibody that inhibits glycoprotein Ibα, such that formation of the tumor cell embolism is inhibited.
