Flash unit holder with adjustable position

A flash unit holder with adjustable position comprising:

• a supporting bracket adapted to be mounted in the direction of an optical axis of a camera lens in front of a camera;
• a shaped circular guide arranged at an end of the supporting bracket and concentrically around the optical axis of the camera lens;
• a rotating cylinder shaped segment arranged in a rotating fashion in respect to the shaped circular guide, the inner side of which is provided with at least one conductive bus;
• wherein the at least one bus is coupled with a shoe of a flash unit on the outer side of the rotating cylinder shaped segment and with the camera and
• a locking element for locking the rotating cylinder shaped segment to the shoe in a chosen position,
• wherein the shaped guide and at the same time the element securing the interconnection of conductive buses of the rotating cylinder shaped segment with the camera is made up by a fixed cylinder shaped segment being fixed to the supporting bracket and being arranged co-axially within the rotating cylinder shaped segment,
• wherein the outer side of the fixed cylinder shaped segment is provided with at least one conductive bus being electrically coupled to the at least one conductive bus of the rotating cylinder shaped segment by a cable interconnected with the camera, and
• the fixation of the rotating cylinder shaped segment to the fixed cylinder shaped segment allows for a rotating movement and locking by the locking element.
