Abstract
A stereoscopic image display device comprises a display panel, and a lens panel disposed on one surface of the display panel, wherein the lens panel includes, a lower substrate, a lower electrode layer having electrodes divided in plurality on one surface of the lower substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed on the lower electrode layer and tilted in a lens form, an upper substrate combined to the lower substrate, and an upper electrode layer disposed on one surface of the upper substrate and having pattern omissions where a part of electrodes is omitted in areas corresponding to a surface of discontinuity of the lens form.

A stereoscopic image display device comprising:
- a display panel;
- and
- a lens panel disposed on one surface of the display panel,
- wherein the lens panel includes:
- a lower substrate;
- a lower electrode layer having electrodes divided in plurality on one surface of the lower substrate;
- a liquid crystal layer disposed on the lower electrode layer and tilted in a lens form;
- an upper substrate combined to the lower substrate;
- and
- an upper electrode layer disposed on one surface of the upper substrate and having pattern omissions where a part of electrodes is omitted in areas corresponding to a surface of discontinuity of the lens form.
A stereoscopic image display device comprising:
- a display panel;
- and
- a lens panel disposed on one surface of the display panel,
- wherein the lens panel includes:
- a lower substrate;
- a first lower electrode layer having an electrode which is divided in plurality on one surface of the lower substrate;
- a second lower electrode layer having an electrode which is divided in plurality on the first electrode layer;
- an upper substrate combined to the lower substrate;
- an upper electrode layer placed on one surface of the upper substrate and having at least two pattern omissions where a part of electrodes are omitted;
- and
- a liquid crystal layer tilted in a lens form by electric fields generated between the first and second lower electrode layers and the upper electrode layer.
