Sheet sorting and storing apparatus and sheet sorting and storing method

A sheet sorting and storing apparatus comprising:

• an ID recognizing unit configured to recognize a user ID for identifying a user;
• a sheet storing unit including plural reuse sheet storing spaces each provided to correspond to the user ID recognized by the ID recognizing unit;
• a sheet inserting unit into which a sheet is inserted;
• a printing detecting unit configured to detect whether a front side and a rear side of the sheet inserted into the sheet inserting unit are printed;
• a sheet directing unit configured to direct, as a reuse sheet, a one-side-unused sheet detected by the printing detecting unit as not being printed on one of a front side and a rear side to the reuse sheet storing space corresponding to the user ID recognized by the ID recognizing unit and store the sheet in the reuse sheet storing space;
• and
• a printing unit configured to convey, when the user ID is specified and printing is instructed, a reuse sheet from the sheet storing space corresponding to the specified user ID and print the reuse sheet.

A sheet sorting and storing method comprising:

• recognizing a user ID for identifying a user;
• detecting, when a sheet is inserted, whether a front side and a rear side of the inserted sheet are printed;
• and
• directing, when printing is detected only on one side, as a reuse sheet, the one-side-unused sheet to a reuse sheet storing space corresponding to the user ID among plural reuse sheet storing spaces and storing the sheet in the reuse sheet storing space.

A sheet sorting and storing method comprising:

• recognizing a user ID for identifying a user stored in an ID card;
• detecting, in a printing detecting unit, whether a front side and a rear side of an inserted sheet inserted into a sheet inserting unit are printed;
• and
• directing, as a reuse sheet, a one-side-unused sheet detected by the printing detecting unit as not being printed on one of a front side and a rear side to a reuse sheet storing space corresponding to the user ID among plural reuse sheet spaces and storing the sheet in the reuse sheet storing space with the unused side arranged as an upper side or a lower side.
