Method of manufacturing a spherical bearing

A method of manufacturing a spherical bearing comprising an inside member having a metal ball portion, and an outside member having a ball support portion enclosing and supporting the ball portion of the inside member and connected swingably or rotatably relative to the inside member, the method comprising the steps of:

• performing injection molding, with the ball portion of the inside member being inserted into a mold as a core, to mold a resin liner covering the ball portion;
• casting the outside member covering the resin liner by inserting the ball portion and the resin liner into the mold as a core, such that the outside member is not in contact with the ball portion;
• and
• heating the resin liner covering the ball portion through only the ball portion of the inside member after the completion of the casting,
• wherein the ball portion of the inside member has a through-hole for fixing a member to be connected, and
• wherein said heating step includes inserting a coil into said through-hole, and heating the resin liner by applying a high-frequency voltage to the coil.
