A table saw in one embodiment includes a motor, a blade operably connected to the motor, at least a portion of the blade positioned within an enclosure, and a dust plate extending within the enclosure and positioned between the at least a portion of the blade and the motor.

- a motor;
- a blade operably connected to the motor, at least a portion of the blade positioned within an enclosure;
- a dust plate extending within the enclosure and positioned between the at least a portion of the blade and the motor.

- a motor;
- an enclosure;
- a dust plate substantially dividing the enclosure into a mechanism portion and a blade portion;

- a blade operably connected to the motor, at least a portion of the blade positioned within the blade portion.
