Abstract
A method and apparatus for multi-touch wallpaper management for a mobile computing device are described wherein a first wallpaper image is displayed on a multi-touch-sensitive display of the mobile computing device and a multi-touch gesture is received indicating a request to change the first wallpaper image. In response to the multi-touch gesture, at least a portion of a second wallpaper image is displayed. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Claims25
A method comprising:
- displaying a first wallpaper image on a multi-touch-sensitive display of a mobile computing device;
- receiving a multi-touch gesture indicating a request to change the first wallpaper image;
- and
- displaying at least a portion of a second wallpaper image in response to the multi-touch gesture.
An article of manufacture comprising a computer-readable storage medium containing instructions that when executed by a processor enable a system to:
- display a first wallpaper image on a multi-touch-sensitive display of a mobile computing device;
- receive a multi-touch gesture indicating a request to change the first wallpaper image;
- and
- display at least a portion of a second wallpaper image in response to the multi-touch gesture.
A mobile computing device, comprising:
- a multi-touch-sensitive display;
- a wallpaper management module operative to display a first wallpaper image on the multi-touch-sensitive display;
- a multi-touch management module operative to receive multi-touch gestures from the multi-touch-sensitive display, wherein at least one multi-touch gesture indicates a request to change the first wallpaper image;
- and
- wherein the wallpaper management module is operative to display at least a portion of a second wallpaper image in response to the multi-touch gesture indicating the request to change the first wallpaper image.
