Abstract
A method of defining a dynamically adjustable user interface (“UI”) of a device is described. The method defines multiple UI elements for the UI, where each UI element includes multiple pixels. The method defines a display adjustment tool for receiving a single display adjustment parameter and in response adjusting the appearance of the UI by differentiating display adjustments to a first set of saturated pixels from the display adjustments to a second set of non-saturated pixels.
Claims26
A method of defining a dynamically adjustable user interface (“UI”) of a device, the method comprising:
- defining a plurality of UI elements for the UI, said UI elements comprising a plurality of pixels;
- and
- defining a display adjustment tool for receiving a single display adjustment parameter and in response adjusting the appearance of the UI by differentiating display adjustments to a first set of saturated pixels from the display adjustments to a second set of non-saturated pixels.
A method of dynamically adjusting an appearance of a user interface (“UI”) displayed on a device, the method comprising:
- receiving a display adjustment parameter for optimizing the appearance;
- based on the display adjustment parameter, adjusting the appearance of the UI by differentiating display adjustments to a first set of saturated pixels from the display adjustments to a second set of non-saturated pixels.
A method of adjusting display properties of a user interface (“UI”) defined by a plurality of pixels, said method comprising:
- receiving a display adjustment parameter;
- from a set of input pixels defined in a first color space, classifying each pixel based on an amplified pixel saturation value computed in a second color space that is different from said first color space;
- and
- adjusting an appearance of the UI based on the classification of pixels and the display adjustment parameter.
A computer readable medium storing a computer program for adjusting an appearance of a user interface (“UI”) displayed on a device, said computer program for execution by at least one processor and comprising sets of instructions for:
- receiving a display adjustment parameter for optimizing the appearance;
- based on the display adjustment parameter, adjusting the appearance of the UI by differentiating display adjustments to a first set of saturated pixels from the display adjustments to a second set of non-saturated pixels.
