System, Method, and Network Elements for Providing Service Information Such as Advice of Charge Information in a Communication Network

A system, comprising:

• a first network element configured to detect a type of an advice of charge service requested by a user equipment,
• the first network element being further configured to send a credit control request message indicating the detected type of the requested advice of charge service to a charging system,
• the first network element being further configured to receive a credit control answer message including information related to the detected type of the requested advice of charge service from the charging system.

A network element, comprising:

• a detector configured to detect a type of a advice of charge service requested by an user equipment in a communication network,
• a sender configured to send a credit control request message indicating the detected type of the requested advice of charge service to a charging system, and
• a receiver configured to receive a credit control answer message including information related to the requested advice of charge service from the charging system.

A method, comprising:

• detecting, at a first network element, a type of a advice of charge service requested by a user equipment,
• sending, by the first network element, a credit control request message indicating the detected type of the requested advice of charge service to a charging system,
• receiving, at the first network element, a credit control answer message including information related to the detected type of the requested advice of charge service from the charging system.
