System and Method for Linking and Managing Linked Orders in an Electronic Trading Environment

An electronically traded object order management system comprising:

• an order submission module configured to substantially simultaneously submit a first order to a first electronic exchange for a first quantity of a first tradable object at a first price, and in response, submit a second order to a second electronic exchange for a second quantity of a second tradable object at a second price, the second quantity being set according to a predetermined quantity relationship between the second quantity and the first quantity, where the submitted first order is pending at the first electronic exchange for the first tradable object and the second order pending at the second electronic exchange for to the second tradable object;
• and
• a synthetic order manager configured to adjust at least one order parameter associated with the submitted second order at the second electronic exchange in response to detecting a change in at least one order parameter for the submitted first order.
