A method for treating liver-associated fibrosing disorders or lupus, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of a compound of formula

• wherein
• R1 is CH3 or CH3-6alkynyl,
• R2 is H, —CH2—CH2—OH, —CH2—CH2—O-CH2-CH3,
• X is ═O, (H, H) or (H, OH),
• provided that R2 is other than H when X is ═O and R1 is CH3.
