A process for preparing a microcapsule product which comprises the steps of:
- admixing a nanoscaled material selected from the group consisting of silica, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, hematite and mixtures thereof and a liquid fragrance oil to form a nanodispersion;
- reacting polymers to form a crosslinked network of polymers;
- encapsulating the nanodispersion with a crosslinked network of polymers to provide a polymer encapsulated product;
- curing the polymer encapsulated product at a temperature above 90° C. to provide a microcapsule product.
The capsule particle of claim 1 which is incorporated into a consumer product selected from the group consisting of detergents, fabric softeners, body washes, soaps, shampoos and hair rinses, anti-perspirants, deodorants, skin creams and hard surface cleaners.
The capsule particle of claim 1 which is incorporated into a shampoo.
A wash-off product comprising a microcapsule product wherein the microcapsule product comprises a liquid fragrance material and a nanoscaled material selected from the group consisting of silica, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, hematite and mixtures thereof encapsulated by a polymer selected from the group consisting of a vinyl polymer;
- an acrylate polymer, melamine-formaldehyde;
- urea formaldehyde and mixtures thereof.
