Abstract
The present invention relates to a cosmetic or dermatological article comprising: a medium in the form of at least one sheet of a material that is soluble in water at a temperature lower than 20° C.; and at least one cosmetic or dermatological compound carried by the medium.

A method for cosmetic treatment of keratinous material comprising:
- providing a water soluble substrate having a density not greater than 0.1 g/cm3 and comprising:
- a material that is soluble in water at a temperature lower than 20° C.;
- and
- at least one foaming cosmetic compound;
- forming a cosmetic composition by contacting said substrate with a sufficient quantity of water in order to substantially dissolve the substrate and causing the foaming cosmetic compound to foam;
- applying the thus formed composition formed to the keratinous material.
