Abstract
The present invention provides probiotic compositions suitable for relieving symptoms associated with gastrointestinal disorders. In particular, the present invention provides compositions and methods to relieve symptoms associated with functional bowel disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, functional diarrhea, functional bloating, and other symptoms.

A dietary supplement composition comprising L. acidophilus and B. animalis subsp. lactis Bi-07.
A method for improving the symptoms of functional bowel disorder, comprising:
- i) providing an individual having functional bowel disorder;
- ii) providing a composition comprising L. acidophilus and Bifidobacterium lactis;
- and iii) administering said composition to said individual under conditions such that said symptoms of functional bowel disorder are improved.
