Abstract
A system for heating one or more objects. The system comprises a first housing comprising a power unit configured for generating radio frequency (EM) radiation, one or more second housings comprising a heating unit having a cavity for positioning one or more objects, and one or more EM radiation conducting elements configured for conducting the EM radiation from the power unit to the cavity for heating the one or more objects. The first housing and one or more of the second housings are physically separated from one another.
Claims28
A system for processing a plurality of objects, comprising:
- a first housing comprising a power unit configured for generating electromagnetic radiation;
- a plurality of second housings each comprising a processing unit having a cavity for positioning at least one of the plurality of objects;
- and
- a plurality of electromagnetic radiation conducting elements configured for conducting simultaneously a plurality of portions of said electromagnetic radiation from said power unit to said plurality of cavities for processing said plurality of objects;
- wherein said first housing and said plurality of second housings are physically separated from one another and configured to be located at least one meter from one another, without sharing a common casing, when said processing is being performed.

A facility configured for allowing heating of a plurality of objects in at least one room in at least one building, comprising:
- a power unit positioned outside a room of said at least one building and configured for generating electromagnetic radiation;
- a plurality of heating units located in at least one room, each heating unit having a cavity for positioning at least one object;
- and
- a plurality of electromagnetic radiation conducting elements configured for conducting simultaneously a plurality of portions of said electromagnetic radiation from said power unit to said plurality of cavities for heating said at least one object in said cavity.
A method for processing a plurality of objects, comprising:
- receiving a plurality of instructions from a plurality of user interfaces located in a plurality of rooms;
- generating electromagnetic radiation using a power unit located outside of said plurality of rooms;
- conducting a plurality of portions of said electromagnetic radiation to a plurality of cavities each with at least one object and each cavity in a different room from said plurality of rooms;
- and
- simultaneously feeding said plurality of portions of said electromagnetic radiation into said plurality of cavities for processing said at least one object in each cavity.
A method for heating one or more objects, comprising:
- allowing the positioning of at least one object in each of a plurality of heating cavities of a plurality of first housings;
- allowing the initiation of a heating process;
- generating electromagnetic radiation in a second housing according to said heating process;
- conducting said electromagnetic radiation from said second housing to said plurality of first housings;
- and
- feeding simultaneously a plurality of portions of said electromagnetic radiation into said plurality of heating cavities for heating said at least one object in each heating cavity;
- wherein said plurality of first housings and said second housing are physically separated from one another without sharing a common casing and located at least one meter from one another during said heating.
26-29. (canceled)
A method for installing a heating system, comprising:
- installing a plurality of housings in a plurality of different rooms, each housing comprising a heating unit having a cavity for positioning at least one object;
- and
- installing an additional housing, outside of said plurality of different rooms, comprising a power unit configured for generating electromagnetic radiation;
- connecting a plurality of electromagnetic radiation conducting elements, having a length of at least one meter, between said additional housing and each of said plurality of housings so as to allow simultaneously conducting a plurality of portions of said electromagnetic radiation from said power unit to a respective cavity for heating said at least one object.
