A method for treating a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore comprising:
- providing a treatment fluid comprising a viscoelastic surfactant having at least one degradable linkage, a hydrolysable material, and a pH control material, wherein the pH control material has a pH equal or greater than about 9 and comprises a strongly alkaline material and an oxidizing agent;
- and
- injecting into the subterranean formation the treatment fluid.
A method for treating a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore which comprises injecting into the subterranean formation a treatment fluid comprising a viscoelastic surfactant having at least one degradable linkage, a hydrolysable material and a pH control material, wherein the pH control material comprises an amine additive.
