Abstract
A solar cell including an insulation substrate, a buffer layer disposed on the insulation substrate, a first electrode disposed on the buffer layer, a first polycrystalline semiconductor layer disposed on the first electrode and including first impurities, a photo-absorptive layer disposed on the first polycrystalline semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer disposed on the photo-absorptive layer and including second impurities, and a second electrode disposed on the second semiconductor layer.

A solar cell comprising:
- an insulation substrate;
- a buffer layer disposed on the insulation substrate;
- a first electrode disposed on the buffer layer;
- a first polycrystalline semiconductor layer disposed on the first electrode and comprising a first impurity;
- a photo-absorptive layer disposed on the first polycrystalline semiconductor layer;
- a second semiconductor layer disposed on the photo-absorptive layer and comprising a second impurity;
- and
- a second electrode disposed on the second semiconductor layer.

A method of manufacturing unit cells of a solar cell comprising:
- providing a buffer layer on an insulation substrate;
- providing a first electrode on the buffer layer;
- providing an amorphous semiconductor on the first electrode;
- crystallizing the amorphous semiconductor;
- and
- providing a second electrode on the crystallized semiconductor.
