Ballistics systems and methods

A turret for use with a scope, the turret being movable relative to the scope, the turret comprising:

• a first dial calibration data disposed on a first portion of the turret, the first dial calibration data including distance indicators to indicate a distance to a target;
• and
• a second dial calibration data on a second portion of the turret, the second dial calibration data including windage indicators for indicating an amount of hold-off for wind;
• wherein the windage indicators indicate an amount of hold-off when the turret is adjusted according to a distance to a target.

A computer readable storage medium having stored thereon executable program code for generating a label or etching for an adjustment dial to be used in connection with a scope for a gun, where when the program code is executed is operable to perform a method comprising the steps of:

• receiving a first set of data, including first shooting conditions data;
• generating an expected projectile drop for at least one selected distance;
• receiving a second set of data, including second shooting conditions data and ballistics performance data collected from one or more shots fired by the gun;
• and
• generating dial-calibration data using at least a portion of said second set of data.

A reticle for use with a scope sized and configured to be connected to a gun, said reticle comprising:

• a vertical cross-hair line;
• a horizontal cross-hair line intersecting said vertical cross-hair line to form a center point;
• and
• a plurality of evenly-spaced hash marks located along and intersecting said horizontal cross-hair on both sides of said center point;
• wherein each said hash mark is configured to designate a windage hold-off.
