Abstract
Snow ski attachments to toe of ski consisting of boat haul/navicular design bottom component J-tip 10 along with top support brace 30 and top cover 42. This will allow the ski to cut through the snow instead of bouncing over it and therefore reducing vibration and improving the control of the ski. These attachments will also strengthen the toe to body connection.
Claims1
1 snow ski tip attachments compromising:
- (a) a boat haul/navicular design referred to as J-tip which is built to manufacturer's specification and is positioned on bottom tip of an existing snow ski
- (b) a support brace built to manufacture's specifications is positioned on top tip of said existing snow ski
- (c) a top cover built to manufacturer's specifications is positioned on top of said support brace and said existing snow ski
- (d) means for joining said J-tip to said support brace is by utilizing a plurality of access holes in said existing snow ski allowing adhesives and screws to maintain the physical interlocking contact between said J-tip and said support brace whereby said support brace stiffens said existing snow ski and keeps said J-tip in longer contact with snow means cutting through said snow and not bouncing over said snow means substantially decreased vibrations plus substantially more control of said existing snow ski said snow ski attachments as defined in claim 1 can already be incorporated into a toe of substructure of said existing snow ski.
